How SLRO Works

Under normal rental terms, if a vehicle is damaged, involved in an accident, or stolen, the renter is required to bear financial responsibility up to a specified excess amount.

With SLRO:

  1. The renter must comply with all rental conditions, including responsible vehicle use.
  2. In the event of an accident or theft:
    • A police report must be lodged within 24 hours
    • The incident must fall within the scope of SLRO coverage
  3. Upon verification, the renter will not be charged any excess fee for major damage, provided all conditions are met.

This significantly reduces the financial burden compared to rentals without SLRO or with standard LRO.
